I will check them tomorrow. This is the first splash male I have had though. I have had several normal colored males and I have been breeding them for about 18 months.

Yeah, my hens are all blue salmon. I think what happened is that my original roo bred one of his daughters so I got the blue on blue. I appreciate your comments.

I have been breeding Bantam Blue Salmon Faverolles for over a year. All chicks have developed the normal color. This last hatch I got one male that is a splash. Same hens, same rooster.

VA, Oh yes, my roosters now think they are hens and should cram themselves into the 12 ' X 12' next that already has five, notice FIVE hens in there. You can't see anything but feathered butts!!!

Congratulations everyone! Sounds as if all of you are going to have successful hatches. I have two silkies and am waiting for the rest to hatch. They are about a week behind because several of my silkies decided that if one hen could do it they all could so I have some late.

They do hatch OK in a still air at 99 to 100 degrees. I have hatched many in my still air. I like the Genesis 1511 because the temp stays right on but the humidity is touchy. If you had refrigerated eggs, that is part of the reason they didn't hatch. Too cold to store them in the fridge...
