    Ideal is NOT shipping MG birds... they would be completely closed down & quarantined if they had even a bit of it. The problem is that when they test birds, sometimes the test results are unclear, making it not qualify for the MG free title. Most likely whoever did the test forgot his glasses...

    As for Nature's Hatchery, I would personally not deal with a hatchery (or breeder) that did not allow pickup. That just sets off too many alarms. Biosecurity isn't that hard to maintain. I know a lady in Wisconsin that raises lavender silkies... Someone intentionally destroyed her flock...
