I have a buff rock chicken that was attacked tonight by a dog. She has 2 puncture wounds to each side of her neck. Shes in shock. She was given some IV fluids SQ and some Baytril antibiotic in case she gets infection. I have read that aspirin helps with pain how do I do this and what dosage...
Still a working progress but this is the front of it and also the side is a outside pen.

Inside of top story 1st picture is of the nesting boxes and trap door which I close every night. 2nd picture is of the roost.
Not a great picture of the bottom story...

Here is a better picture of my buff rock. Is she mean because shes a roo? Or just other reasons. Shes so friendly to us and the other chickens. So I am not sure why shes doing this to the roo
My buff rock that I have is being mean to the silver lakenvelder thats a Roo. Why is that. She peaks his tail feathers to the point he bleeds I have finally separated him from the flock . Any ideas why she does this. Feel so bad for the poor fella.
Thank you for your help. I am three weeks new at this and love love love them. I am always outside with them. I could sit there all day watching them. They are so much fun. I do hope the rest of my flock are pullets as I am thinking maybe one or two may be Roo's which I am hating the fact...
I am also going to post pictures of my other three chickens. Ones tiny and has a bunch of feathers on her feet and the other two are really getting big. Can anyone tell me there breeds and gender?
The picture in the middle is the same chicken above but the smaller one with the feathery feet...
This is a picture of one of my other chickens. I am thinking its the same breed as the other one. A silver lakenvelder. Same age as the other as well. I do hope this one is a pullet. I am bummed out that my other one is probably a Rooster.
thanks for your help. I am so glad I know what breed now. And dang I was hoping for a chicken. I have one that I am thinking is the same breed but she has a smaller comb etc and a lot smaller. I do hope shes a chicken :)
Hope these pictures help. My other new chickens pick on this one all the time. Its missing some feathers. I really hope its a chicken we like her a lot.
I am not sure what breed or gender this is. Not even sure about age. I have had hopefully her for 3 weeks now and she is looking way different from my other ones. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
