so this one is a barred cochin. Is this one a roo or a pullet . I hope pullet

My buff rock that I have is being mean to the silver lakenvelder thats a Roo. Why is that. She peaks his tail feathers to the point he bleeds I have finally separated him from the flock . Any ideas why she does this. Feel so bad for the poor fella.

Here is a better picture of my buff rock. Is she mean because shes a roo? Or just other reasons. Shes so friendly to us and the other chickens. So I am not sure why shes doing this to the roo

she looks like a girl, it could be that she is the boss hen, or that the rooster (in his teenage man hood) is acting like a teen boy and she aint having that with him
