Chick ID Pretty Please

Were did you get the chicks? As far as I know is there are only a couple hatcheries that have green queens. I have several and they all look different. They may have a beard muff feathered feet or tufted head. The beards and muffs are hard to notice when really young but by a couple weeks old you should be able to know. Not all will lay green eggs as my 1st green queen laid brown eggs. The last green queen I got looks so much like the eggers that came with the order I haven’t been able to figure out which is the green queen yet. 1 green queen ended up being a roo and probably the best looking roo I have.

I think the fluffy brown one is the green queen of my order since the other 2 look more clearly like a black Ameracauna & a blue cuckoo Legbar. But I don't actually know! There's so much diversity in the green Queen that I didn't realize I'd wonder looking at my new chicks. Thanks for posting about yours!
