So I get home this evening from my day-long errands (it's state fair week starting up) and my husband announces that the coop will be finished, with a temporary roof, and we are moving the Keets into their coop mansion tonight! Any normal time it would've taken WEEKS to get my coop built but...
In the brooder they are scratching and "bathing" like they are in dirt! When can/should I move them to the coop? What kind of bedding should I use for my 3 week old Keets? Can I use the same wood shavings that I used for my horses? Help? :/  :/
One of my little Keets is walking on its knuckles....won't seem to spread its feet out. Is this something it will grow out of, requires medical intervention or physical therapy, or simply hope for the best but prepare for the worst?
I am totally new to this...I have never even owned a chicken...
I have never owned a chicken and no absolutely nothing about them! But that's probably okay because we're getting Guinea Keets...the thing is I no nothing about them either! So I will probably be on here quite often with what to most of you may be the dumbest questions! Right now I am scrambling...
