    I'm thinking genetics. The eggs are all collected at the same time and hatch around the same time. It's such a shame, and heartbreaking to see the chicks like that. This is such an awesome breed. Thanks for the reply.

    Hi. I have incubated 2 of my Turkins eggs. Both have hatched, but both have come out not being able to walk. All of my other chicks have been very healthy and happy. Does anyone know what it could be?

    I have the same one. Mine does have quite an attitude. I was patching my coops roof yesterday. My husband came outside and the rooster started attacking his feet. It was quite comical, on my part. Is this normal behavior on this breeds part?

    hi. I have a lot of pure white button quail that look like this one. Its face and head will turn white just like its body. Their heads just take longer to change color then their bodies do.

    Awe. Those are beautiful babiess. I have 18 that hatched Monday, and are still hatching. They do grow sooo fast.

    I give my outside a couple hard boiled eggs once a week mixed in there food, along with some ground up high protien cat food. Wisconsin gets cold, so I try to increase there body fat a little bit.
