I keep my ducks as they are my pets. I just couldn't bring myself to raising ducks or any animals as food. I have taken in other animals from rescues, all are my precious pets. At one point I had 3 ducks, I just have the one now, as two have passed on. RIP Squeaky, Dexter.

I'm frustrated too. I arrived several days too late!! When I called TSC I was told that when the ducks came in, they only lasted 2 days, and then Boom they were sold out. I think I'm going to have to call them every day.
How to keep the mess down? Well, I usually keep Squeaky, my Khaki Campbell in a cage that has a steel sheet of metal on the side of the cage next to the wall. Her poop and food ends up on the steel and not on the wall. The cage sits on a tray that has horse pellets in it to absorb the water...
