Quick help needed before I set eggs! Brinsea octagon advance - instructions low temp?
Thanks for reply I'm useless with Fahrenheit sorry! I'll go with the instructions then? I've only used the janoel always run at 37.7 with success but maybe if you say that temp is too high my incubator is digitally wrong maybe as it is a janoel! Lol- WeeNicole

Hi again everyone well ordered the new octagon advance 20. Firsts I'd like to add it seems a greats wee job, hold temp wonderful BUT the main instructions supplied by brinsea say to run temp at 37.5. (99.6F) Usually I run my incubators at 37.7 as majority of people do so I'm really unsure what...- WeeNicole

Yes I've two thermometers going as I don't trust the digital readout displayed on bator.. The bator only went to higher humidity during the day which easily corrected by opening the bator to let the humidity out when it got too high. As above, I know you lot probably sick of hearing this as I've been through most if not all threads on here regarding late hatches. Right now I'm on day 23 going into 24. Thought that as no matter what they're all set on same day same time. I've a black Japanese, few sulmtaler bantams and cemani to go into lockdown two three days before the rest as the shipped sulmtaler and ayam were late/delayed by time they got here. That's you beet and seet.. Well I did go round the whole incubator with temp gauge which was all ok as I thought. Ok so last Wednesday I set 6 of my own ayam cemani and sulmtaler then bought in different lines to hatch so they're unrelated to mine so yes added more, ayam cemani eggs 6 sulmtaler eggs, both of which were shipped. No they are outside in a coop and run with broody hen. On grass, before that they were in shed in a chick coop/run on concrete but filled with shavings- WeeNicole

Broody duck in hedge hatch not went right!?
Thank you for quick reply. I'll do what you say it's my only option. Not a good place to be broody at all. She disappeared and this is how we found her, wish I'd of found her earlier so I could of moved her and nest before this. Thanks again I'll keep updated :) -
