I need some advice. We have 6 2-week old chicks that we are unsure of when to introducing them to our single hen who has just gone broody. She is lonely so I was thinking introducing them a little early may not be bad, but now that she is broody I don't know how she would react to them.

A friends parents had 11 chickens show up a few months ago and since no one has claimed them she gave me 4 (hopefully hens), does anyone know what breed these beauties are? They are thought to be about 4 months old.
