Introducing chicks to a single hen.

I need some advice. We have 6 2-week old chicks that we are unsure of when to introducing them to our single hen who has just gone broody. She is lonely so I was thinking introducing them a little early may not be bad, but now that she is broody I don't know how she would react to them.

If you're positive that she's broody, has been sitting tight to the nest day and night for at least a week....you might be able to slip the chicks under her at night. keep a close eye tho in case she rejects them...fatalities are a possibility with rejection.
