What kinds of chickens to get

Winters don't usually get below 35 degrees and summers around 95, although we have had a pretty warm start to this summer. The area is well shaded and it makes a huge difference in temperature.

What kinds of chickens to get

I too am looking to get chickens. I live in Shingle Springs CA and it can get a bit chilly in the winter. I am looking for suggestions on what kind of chickens to get. I plan on only having 2 or 3 because that is all my "coop" will support. Thank you in advance for your help!!!

    Proposed Chicken Run

the trees are IN the run. That is where I want to put the chicken wire. My question, maybe this is a better way to say it, is how to incorporate the trees into the run.
