    help finding turkeys

I live in Harford county Maryland, and was thinking about the red Bourbon turkeys (heard they were dosile) I actually thought about incubating but have never tried before, is it relatively easy or do you just have to be lucky

    introducing pullets

I'm new to chickens and have had 2 for a few weeks now, I also have a shipment of 15 buff Orpington chicks coming Friday, do you think introducing the 15 orpingtons will be a problem (I thought no because I figured there wouldn't be much of a pecking order with just two chickens)

    does this look big enough?

I was actually thinking the same thing about the run as I was typing it, I should be able to build something like that before the chicks get too big

    does this look big enough?

I'm currently building a pretty big run, around 50' long and 10' wide it will have a roof so I figured that was plenty of space to run around at any time of the year, from what I've read Orpingtons are pretty good with dealing with cold weather

    does this look big enough?

Yeah I thought so I just figured once the nesting boxes and roosts were filled there would still be plenty of room

    does this look big enough?

I was wondering if this looked big enough for around 15 buff Orpingtons (just for sleeping) its around 4x4 and has 8 nesting boxes and 4 roosts.

Hi I'm sort of new to the site and was wondering if there was a good place to buy or swap chickens near or in harford county, the popular swap in western Maryland is just too far away

My family had always talked about raising chickens, our neighbor then took it upon herself to release this rooster into our yard on one of our birthdays, he seemed very angry and would often attack us, after we got the hen two weeks ago he has been much more dosile

what kind of rooster is this

Thanks we're actually new to chickens and he was our first, I kind of figured he was going to be a mutt when he was given to us as a gag gift (they actually thought we were going to give it back) but then we got the hen from a friend last week and should have 15 buff orpingtons in the mail by...

what kind of rooster is this

We got this rooster as a joke and I'm not entirely sure we should allow it to breed with our other chickens
