    EE still not laying.......

I was hoping it was the short days and nothing else. My 2 birds have never crowed, so I hope that Muffin (the EE) is not a roo. My laying hen, Moonpie, is dominant between the two. Moonpie started her laying rt before the day light savings changed over, and she has been a consistent layer. But...

    EE still not laying.......

I'm going to join this thread too- I got 2 chicks from a teacher who hatched them in her room, very tame girls... One turned out to be a Blk Australorp and the other looks like a EEgger. Both were hatched on May 21st this year. The Australorp has been laying for 2 months now. We steadily get 6...

"No chickens in the house rule."

Thanks but I think the issue is two-fold. First, the picture is a .png format from a cell phone. And second, I am not able to rename it on my iPad - I think it has to wait until I get back to my laptop. So maybe by this evening I will have gotten those tackled!

We can't resist letting them in. If they are not sitting in the dog beds, they snuggle on the ottoman or u der the dining table!

    Hi From Southern California!

Hi, I am from San Diego, CA. They just revamped our chicken laws and we can now have some inside city limits! Another teacher at my school hatched 7 eggs from the Farmer's Market chicken guy, and I offered to take 2. Brave, right? I have very small yard so, I thought I'd start small and see how...
