    Trimming chickens nails

    I noticed one of my chickens has long toenails . My PBR has crooked toes and some of her nails are really long . I have never trimmed chickens nails before , I'm a vet tech is it similar to dogs toenails ?? Can I use dog nail clippers or do I need something special ?? Thanks :)
