    YAY!!!! I got my first egg today. It was light brown and small. The yolk didn't have a real dark yellow color like I've seen in other pics. I'm going to try the oyster shell starting this week any other suggestions?

    That's awesome news really... I figured they would have to be used to sleeping in there to lay eggs in there... I have a platform built with 1+4 boards as rails and they huddle up there at night.... And oddly poop alot right there so everyday there's a line of poop pile there. I guess that's why...

    Ok so maybe I'm wrong.... Yes they have a sleeping area. U can't see this in the pics. Will they nest in the "condos" I've built when it comes time? I'll post nor pics tomorrow in the light to show my whole coop.... I have a nice perch where they sleep that's covered with metal to block the rain...
