trying to get my hens in the roost

YAY!!!! I got my first egg today. It was light brown and small. The yolk didn't have a real dark yellow color like I've seen in other pics. I'm going to try the oyster shell starting this week any other suggestions?

Do you free range? Its the greens they get free ranging that give that bright yellow yolk.
