okay so my Khakis are about 3 1/2 - 4 weeks now i also have 3 rouens but ill save that for the rouen thread. anyways there are some slight things you can do to tell rouens sex apart has ducklings so im wondering is there anything other than quacks to tell my Khakis sex apart at such a young age...
2 of my rouens have a lightish color bill while the others is still jet black is this an indication to their sex? i can hear some quacking but i have 2 khakis has well and has far has i can tell only 1-2 of the 5 are quacking just wonderin once again thanks for the answers in advance guys (:

well i figured out my ducks are very hardy they survived the two coldest nights weve had in some time 60-65 at 1 1/2- 2 weeks they love being outside and hate it when i lock tem in their house which is in their run at night time i let them do what they wanted and sure enough they made a igloo...
okay so i have 3 rouens and two KC's i got tired o there mess in side of their brooder so moved them outside there about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks old i live in NC it is about 80-90 in.the day 68-78 at nught its raining right now and there swimming in their water bowl do you guys think.they will be okay?
I have to KCs and 3 rouens their still ducklings but im.just wondering when they do start naturing.are there any things you can do to make them go broody i want to start sorta of a local "hatchery" i posted on the KC thread some other questions any tips would be awesome
I got my KC from murray mcmurray on the 10th i expect they were 3-4 days old this is the irst time.ive raised any ducks but im.hoping to turn it into a little local "hatchery" any tips and info on the growing stages feathering stages when they can go outside im.in NC so the days are 85-95...
