This is right up Troxler's alley, and it's ridiculous.
The whole idea of registering "just in case" is an intrusion. Apply that logic to any other thing and it becomes apparent.

So after 3 weeks of hanging around the house and yard I put her back in the run with the other chickens. There were two serious and one half-hearted attempt to peck her. She won all three and settled right in. I assumed there would be some trouble getting up into the coop and onto a roost, but...
I put her in a better sling yesterday to keep her out of her poop. Today she got out. Her foot is swollen, and everything from the elbow to the foot is limp. She doesn't move it at all. So maybe there is a break there in the elbow.
One of my hens (Greyjoy) got her foot caught in a gap between a roost and the wall. We found her hanging there, and unfortunately no idea how long. Couldn't have been more than a couple hours.
As far as I can tell, she has no breaks, but her elbow and foot are swollen and she doesn't move any...
