    They are great egg layers, they hold the record for most eggs laid in 365 days, (364). Good meat chickens also. The hens are really good, they would be worth getting if you want some consistent eggs in your fridge. I hope this helps you some.

    Welcome to the site, glad you are no longer a lurker. So what kind of flock will you be getting. I would recommend for you to think about getting some RIRS and or Rocks...good luck.
