    We started training them. We never leave them out there without us anyways, but my husband and I claimed the chickens tonight and it worked. We are going to do that every day for the next few weeks to train them not to go crazy. :) thanks for the advice. Oh and the chicks loved the coop!

    So I put the chicks in there and all ready found predators. My two dogs went ballistic! They were trying everything to get in there :( I've never seen them like that :/

    You don't think they'd be more prey to predators because of their size? My husband built a nice coop but I'm paranoid. Lol

    How do I know when my chicks are ready to go into a coop? These are my first 3 chicks. They are now 2 weeks old. I live in central Florida the temperature outside is in high 80's. right now I am keeping them in a box in my garage. Thanks everyone :)
