    Well....she just has one egg but she is not leaving it. We would be pretty lucky if that one egg turned out to be fertile...but you never know. I guess we wll know if a week or so. Thanks for the advice and good luck to you too! Rachel

    MY 1 1/2 year old hen stopped laying after a shelless egg

    We have figured out she is molting...not sick. Her comb shrunk, she stopped laying eggs, and we are finding her feathers everywhere now. She acts fine and sits with our other hen while she lays her eggs...she's a good friend.

    I need a little help. It appears our chickens have dry pox. Does dry pox have the potential to turn into wet pox or if it's dry pox it stays dry pox? These pictures are so scary and I am so impressed with all that you did for your chickens.
