Been in the aquarium hobby for many years. Just gave it up for raising chickens and other game birds. Only have one colony of Chiwena Red Tropheus left that I'm trying to rehome.

Where are you located? Different area's have different laws concerning chickens.

They're all doing great. All seem very happy and healthy. I already have a coop in my backyard for my egg layers, but still need to build a few more out on the property for breeding. I found a guy here close to me that either has or can get just about anything I want breed wise except heritage...

I definitely haven't been as much as I like this year. We usually are on the water at least once a month for a weekend. The San Jacinto river below Lake Houston is my stomping grounds. Great fishing. Fresh and saltwater species. From Large mouth bass to red drum. Blue catfish to speckled trout...

Welcome to BYC. Sounds like you already have a nice flock of turkeys along with your herd of deer.

Camping....Fall has the perfect camping weather. Grab the kids, hook up the boat, throw in the poles and hit the river. Just can't beat it.

It's never too early too teach them. An educated chicken lays better eggs.
