    I got my box today. 51 chicks, none DOA, but no ducks or other fowl. I was really hoping for ducks. I guess this means I must order another box later in the year.

    I know it's a pretty penny.our house already had it in Kansas.it actually broke earlier this summer and we about died. We all moved down to the basement it was so hot upstairs. I plan on never moving again so it might be something I'd consider. Although I think I'd rather get solar panels.

    I was looking at the temperature in Kansas today, and I'm so glad we moved before the real heat got there. They've been in a great advisory all week. I think your office needs an air conditioner! Our house doesn't have one and some days I definitely wish it did.

    This is the first time I had chicks shipped to me. Overall I am happy with how they've been acting. Of course they were extremely thirsty when I got them out. A couple didn't make it, but I expected that. It looks like I got a pretty good variety, so I'm happy about that.

    We got our chicks that we ordered from ideal today. I'm so excited. It looks like we got a pretty good variety. About 5 naked necks which I am extremely excited about. I'm not sure how they'll do in winter though. I might have to knit them a scarf lol lol

    My beautiful eggs have arrived. I received 6 black copper Marans, 4 buff orpingtons, 2 jubilee Orrington, 2 easter Eggers, 2 unknown breeds, 2 bielefelder, 3 isbar, and 9 barred Plymouth rock. I'm going to put them in the Bator tomorrow morning. Yay!
