    Hi, We are hearing about very cold weather in the states. How do you keep the chooks alive in the cold. We get nothing worse than a light frost here, and Im already wondering how the hens will survive that, although they all have very good houses.

    How long can a bantam stay clucky

    My wee frizzle has been nesting now for almost a month. I have found a supply of fertile eggs to buy, but wonder if I have left it too late, and she may give up before they hatch. Any help appreciated as Im very new to having hens. Merle

    Thanks, thats such good information and easy for me to try. I have two Whippets and a cat, so plenty of cages for me to use.(Not that they live in cages but they travel in the car that way) I will certainly give that a try.
