I got a wild hen. She just love to bite me in the hand when it comes to getting in the cage with her. If she was not the last layer I have she would be dinner. is there any way to modify her behavior?
I'm not sure if this could have been the problem but the 1st day i set up the bator i use both water trays insted of one the humity shot up to 77% and stayed there all night. I opened all the plugs last night too. This morning I candled and rolled them. the humity was 61%. thats when i noticed...
so my hen has been in the cold all winter in her coop its always about 27-55*f out how can i get her to lay eggs, befor it warms up in spring? light hrs or tempature or both?
So everone says that thay will keep fertile for 3-4 weeks. Now if she doesn't lay untill it warms up, 2 to 3 weeks or longer. does it start from the time she lays, or when the last conception took place?
