Me, too! We moved to upstate from Charleston last summer. This is my first attempt of chicken keeping. All I need are layer chickens but I just can't resist silkies :) I had five white ones and lost them all to the neighbor dog. I hope I can buy some from you.- Kiki1010

TS in Easley couldn't tell me much either. They said "chicks are coming soon". My feed store is taking chick orders though. I'm getting my BOs on 3/20ish. This is fun season :))- Kiki1010

My 3 months old Amaraucana is acting strange
She is doing much better. I think she can return to her coop but we are expecting freezing weather this week so I will keep her in the brooder in the garage rest of this week. I have added two more smaller birds to keep her company. Thank you for your help!- Kiki1010

My 3 months old Amaraucana is acting strange

My 3 months old Amaraucana is acting strange
I have been taking care of her along with other birds that are about the same age (3 months) since they are 3 weeks olds. I noticed this morning my Amaraucana (sp?) was trying to eat in sitting position. This is the same bird that I noticed acting weird when she was eating a couple days ago...- Kiki1010
