    Broody Hen!!

    I am lucky enough to work in a supermarket that has a salad bar, I just ask them to throw produce scraps in a bag for me, the girls love it and its free!! Win Win...

    Hi fellow Jerseyans.....got our chicks in Sept. , doing very well, could not be happier...don't tell anyone in Hazlet we have chickens, all my surround neighbors already know, (bribed them with some eggs!) I love my chickens, they are such characters!

    We are really enjoying our six hens we got as chicks in Sept. So fun to watch.....can't wait till we start getting eggs! We feel a little bad they have this winter to go through first, but will they be happy when spring comes.....
