    Twin Chicks Double yolk

When we got our chicks, we kept them in for about a week and a half, and then they got to EXPLORE DA WORLD. :) Try to keep them in for as long as they have thin fluffy down, when u see small soft feathers, take them outside. Good luck!

Can you pull out a rooster's nail?

Thank you, but I am not that kind of a person who looks at bloody things, we were thinking of giving it to our neighbor for dinner, if pulling out his nails is not possible, we'll give it to our neighbor.

Can you pull out a rooster's nail?

We have a rooster that is very aggressive, he hurts the hens and sometimes us. We decided to pull out his nails so he couldn't do any damage. Is it possible to pull out his nails? And if it is, what do we use and how? :) Please reply.

Why is my chicken molting in the winter? (black quills?)

Thank you, we feed her layer food. So we mix half kitten food and half layer hen food? To get the right combination? And do we use wet kitten food or dry? Also, Shadow (the weak hen) is making tiny "buck" or "cluck" sounds every time she steps. Like a chick says "peep" continuously... What a...

Why is my chicken molting in the winter? (black quills?)

Yes, there are roosters than pick on her and two hens. (One picks a LOT on her for no particular reason and one just picks on her if she is trying to eat...) You can say that she is stressed, but she was never stressed before when they picked on her, it started suddenly. Yes, there is a light in...

Why is my chicken molting in the winter? (black quills?)

I made a previous thread about this, (https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/843714/droopy-winged-injured-chicken-losing-feathers) but it seems that the drooped wing is now healing, but the feather shedding is much more frequent. The hen is a Gold Sex Link, she is two years old, and was always being...
