Thanks for replies.
Sorry for not providing more info.
I have parakeets outside the house.
I also have fish inside the house.
I have no dogs or cats.
Neighbors do. Left = dog, Right = dogs, Across = cats (cats like to visit but we don't allow in).
"Fleas are not likely to be hanging out in...
Hi,
Fleas. I hate them.
I have hardwood floor.
I tried DE around the wall.
I tried vacuuming everything.
I tried spraying home defense whatever chemical around the wall.
Kept getting new itchy stuff around my legs.
How do I beat fleas?
Do they come at night?
Do they crawl or jump to my leg...
Hi,
I'm selling two pullets. They are 6 to 7 months old. One just started laying. Happy and healthy.
#1. Barred rock
#2. New Hampshire
La Mesa 91942.
Please bring cage/box to fit both. $30 each OBO. Pick up and cash only.
Thank you!
I have a 2.5 yr old hen who walks funny (squatting all the time). Dirty butt feathers (dried poop), no blood and still drinking and eating ok. Mostly stay in nest while others go around. Pale comb and wattle.
I don't see her trying to poop out an egg though. Empty crop (sadly) but stomach is...
Zip 91942.
Eight chickens of 2yr old. 6 healthy but 2 have blocked stomach.
6 RiR, 1 white leg horn, 1 EE.
We love them but unfortunately can no longer afford them.
Please send PM and we'll reply with address/info.
1/4" hw cloth for bottom... not sure of gauge. Bought from home depot.
After months using it, some craps don't fall down and became hard enough to pick by hand (+gloves lol).
Also feathers or whatever stuck around. Kind of hard to clean.
I wonder if I should just go full sand?
Not really showing pens but I just love how they sand bath.
Cage is 1/2" hardwire cloth on sides, 1/4" hw cloth on bottom and wood (cushioned) top.
Regular box nothing fancy. Nothing automatic (still using g.pig drinkers etc).
sbhkma, yes that one. casportpony. ok.
20 days total. ok.
thanks!
Edit: here it is

She is now eating main food. Yay.
I did buy valbazen 60mL anyway.
1/2 mL per hen once, orally, and then again after 10 days.
Throw all eggs from day 1 to day 20 (or is it 24?)
Where's that thread with picture on how to administer this orally to chickens...
$10 shipping. If it doesn't expire, I would buy the 1000mL one, but it does expire.
I only have 8 chickens which means I need only 8mL per 6 to 12 months.
Yes, I'm cheap but they don't lay golden eggs either.
Well after 4-5 days of corid, she looks better. She has been moving more, foraging and even running. She however still does not want to eat the main food that the other 7 eat like there's no tomorrow. She eats bagel, rice, bread. Still no eggs.
What should I do?
Separate, give food+water...
Doubt that he was hand raised.
I do see an improvement compare to day 1: now he wants to eat millet spray when I stick it close to him (but not when it's on my palm). Slowly but surely I guess.
Does this work for dewormer?
