    i got 6 new birds last week and put them up for 7 days turned them loose 3 days ago and they have already figuared out where everything is they go back to there coop every evening about sundown to get locked up. did you get a rooster?

    I have 50 birds I lock them in a coop at night and free range during the day I locked them in for about 2 weeks and they lay and roost in there coop I do feed them in the coop also free choice they're grit and oyster sale are also in the coop so they are always coming back to it

    I used a 66 qt clear plastic container wirh lid, i cut 3 (2 1/2) in holes along each side and 1 in each end about 4 to 6in off the bottom. Any thing that is spilt gets p/u quick by those waiting thier turn. So simple and very little to no waste it feeds 8 at a time

    no one else collected them and i still have not seen them. im watching close and have not found tracks or anything.

    i have 41 hens 2 of them are game. 1 of my game hens has just gone broody and had three eggs. this morning she is in a different box and no sign of the eggs. no shells nothing wet. its 15 degrees outside or id say snake. any ideas. john
