I used a 66 qt clear plastic container wirh lid, i cut 3 (2 1/2) in holes along each side and 1 in each end about 4 to 6in off the bottom. Any thing that is spilt gets p/u quick by those waiting thier turn. So simple and very little to no waste it feeds 8 at a time

i have 2 of these and another advantage just stumbled on in this photo. The waterer on top stays very clean.

When drilling holes makesure surface is flat. Will bteak if not flat
