    I think an ACD would fit your bill wonderfully! They are one of my favorites and I plan to have one some day. Australian Kelpie could also be a good fit but I know they can be a little harder to find.

    Personally I would have a vet come out and check on her, especially because you just picked her up on the side of the road. He would be able to help you out and let you know if she is or isn't pregnant. However, if you can't get a vet out to check on her do you know anyone that knows anything...

I thought about ordering one through a hatchery but I would of needed to order a minimum of 20 birds(or something close to that) and I was just not ready for that many birds.
