    I noticed one of my chickens footpads was swollen. Took a look and saw this. There seems to be a plug in the middle thatI picked at gently with some tweezers but it seems kind of deep so stopped. She doesn’t appear to be favoring it and is otherwise eating/moving fine

    I came home today to find the dark scab partially broken free and she was able to open the eye about half way. Flushed the eye out with a saline solution and put some Terramycin on it. Quarantined her for now.

    I have had recently added four new chickens to my existing flock. I have had them for about two weeks (slowly introduced to the flock and all seem to be in good health. Yesterday I noticed one of the hens eyes swollen shut, I was thinking it was from pecking( I saw one of the hens get after her)...
