Male duck chasing away one female from the rest of the flock

I have already separated him three times I don't want to have him housed separate forever at that point it won't even be worth keeping him around since I only have him around for fertile eggs.

Male duck chasing away one female from the rest of the flock

Hello I have 8 ducks, 1 male and 7 females Recently my drake has been chasing away a particular duck from the rest of the flock. He doesn't chase her like he wants to mate. He puts his head down, opens his mouth and chases her just far enough that she is away from the rest of the flock. I have...

Have no idea whats going on with my hen's backside

It's a good possibility that trimming her feathers caused the pecking. If you have a vet in the area that cares for birds I would take her there if it's really bad it might require professional care.

Have no idea whats going on with my hen's backside

No she is in the middle she is a very sassy orpington! LOL! I'm thinking she is a late molter and my red sexlink (who are the bullies in my flock) plucked her feathers which they have a nasty habit of doing to the other birds and they pulled her skin.

Little confused on color and gender combo...

So the two black and buff chicks are the cross between a buff orpington rooster and black australorp hen. From what I read that cross should give you sexlink but one of them appears to be a male but has the coloration of a female black sexlink, the combs are completely different in size. Anyone...

Well all I really want is one breed of ducklings and I just want 10 but since the minimum order is 25 I was gonna get 15 SL Wyandottes too. That's why I wanted to know if you could combined species.
