    Thanks so much for your help!!! It is the 6 week olds that are outside in the coop. The Black Sex link is fully feathered and the Barred Rock is pretty well on her way with the exception of a nice lions mane. My coop came from the local farm store as a kit. It has an enclosed box up top...

    Problem is...I had to separate the chicks when I lost one of the 6 week olds to my ignorance [my dog got it :*(] and then replaced her with two more little 2 week old girls. I'm worried because the big girls are out in the coop with the heat lamp because we have had 22 degree mornings here...
