We got 6 2 week old chicks and they are now about 16 weeks old. Is it possible that 4/6 are roosters or is it more likely that we have crowing hens? We gave 2 away who we were sure were roosters due to their comb and crowing. Now 2 more are crowing. We cannot keep roosters because of the noise...
Thanks so much @gander007 I started feeding them all hard boiled eggs and she got better within the week. She is still limping the tiniest bit, but her foot is open now and she is even starting to roost! So glad she is getting better! Thanks for the help!
Updated with pictures...can anyone help me diagnose this chick? I am wonder if it is too late to try and splint her foot/leg at 7 weeks old. When I hold the toes outstretched, her leg quivers like it's in pain.
