I noticed my 6 week old Easter egger wobbling on one leg yesterday. Watching her closely, it looks like her legs are separating like in spraddle leg, especially when she is moving quickly. She can walk fine when she's not in a hurry but when she runs she slips and slides and wobbles all over the place. I checked her feet and legs, no sign of cuts or bleeding anywhere. She is eating and drinking and the other chickens seem to be leaving her alone. She is the only one who won't roost. Is there anything I should be doing to help her?

Here she is, now her toes are all curled under and she is barely putting any weight on this leg. Any ideas what it could be?

I am feeding her organic chick starter and water. I have 4 other chicks who show no signs of weakness/deformity all on the same feed. Thanks for responding.

Updated with pictures...can anyone help me diagnose this chick? I am wonder if it is too late to try and splint her foot/leg at 7 weeks old. When I hold the toes outstretched, her leg quivers like it's in pain.

When I was a kid back in the 60's my grandpa was feeding the baby chicks some hard boiled
egg's so I started asking questions as normal kids do and he explained the if chicks came from
egg's then everything they really need must be in the egg and it was something he learned
when he was a young boy so I thought wow how wise my grandpa is and this was a wonderful
medicine that had been around forever ....

And really the egg has most everything the chick needs to grow and this is why I needed to ask
what you feed ok,,, now I still have problems time to time but the egg trick really works as a
preventive medicine and your chick is doing a lot of growing and plenty more to go so if I might
suggest grandpa's secret recipe and no this is not the one he made during prohibition that led
to him being on probation NO,, NO this is just a hard boiled egg shell removed and the egg
mashed and served to the chicks one egg per ten chicks twice a day for three days and after
that two three egg's per week after that for a couple more weeks and watch them grow up strong
and the chick with the foot do the same but let him rest on the side for about a week and yes
all the nutrients they need and the immune system enhanced all in one

Thanks so much @gander007 I started feeding them all hard boiled eggs and she got better within the week. She is still limping the tiniest bit, but her foot is open now and she is even starting to roost! So glad she is getting better! Thanks for the help!
