How do you and your geese like the desert? I used to live in Temecula, CA (way south of you) but moved to coastal Oregon 4 years ago. Beautifully green and wet, but I do miss the desert scenery!

Millet is a type of grain..I buy the springs in the grocery store where they have parakeet seeds, etc. Hope this helps.

Thank You gander, the only cause I could see is that her feathers around her eyes were beginning to thin, she was about 15mo. and probably did not make it thru her first molt.
