Try feeding your chicks a hard boiled egg and maybe the tractor supply store has something to add to their water ...

So funny :jumpy I have been hatching for years and I have some ducklings right now chipping away in the incubator and yes it is a bit of work and the chirping is still grand to my ears even after +50 years of doing this ... :th:celebrate

Alright she sounds normal I see adults do this ... How about feeding your chicks a boiled egg or you can also scramble it really helps with energy ...... :eek:
Oh my Grandpa showed me about feeding egg's to chicks back in the 1960's and it works so very well and store eggs work very well ....

Once the feathers start growing you can start lowering the temp but with only two chicks I would keep a heat source available at night for some time and a good safe surrounding at night ..
Oh have I had this problem before and I put one down today but I am getting old and don't have the energy I use to have but I will give you some advise as it seems you are willing to work with your chick so cut out a piece of hard paper the size of the chicks foot and attach it to the chicks...

I had a lady some years ago that would normally sit on a nest and have chicks under her wings and watch out if she found a empty nest as one time she had a dozen guinea chicks flowing her around and a gosling at the same time ...
Personally I use Turkey grow for the first six weeks and a couple times a week I give my chicks a hard boiled or scrambled egg it is all about having healthy chickens :love
I put my chicks outside with in four weeks but I live in Death Valley Ca. and for Christmas day we went swimming out side this last year so I guess it really all depends where you live don't it . Just make sure the chicks are protected from the wind and weather and a heating pad as a minimum...
