    Scott, one of my coworkers said he's had really good luck by adding a couple of teaspoons of cayenne pepper to the chicken feed. Sounds strange but whatever works, right? And I'll go without eggs before I'll buy store bought. Hrmph! So there!

    Dry curd cottage cheese. We got this stuff not realizing that it isn't fit for human consumption (it has less than 0.5% milk fat) fortunately the ladies LOVED it! Might have to buy some more just for them.

    So, by sex link, they ARE females, right? #`1 is definitely paler towards the back, I don't know that I'd say white though. Yes, #3 is a really good representation of the coloration.

    The first two were purchased on March 15. I was told that they were 1 week old. The third was purchased a week later. I was told that she was 10 days old. They all come from a feed store.

    You might try the artificial eggs that feed stores sell. They won't break if they're pushed out or spoil if they don't get collected.
