    Don't get to be home today, have 3 pipped Marans. One had a terribly dry membrane, moistened, refilled all the water troughs and cups, turned on my heater humidifier. Hoping all goes well with everyone today! Pip pip hooray!!

    Thanks everyone! We got the bantams on MLK day, then 2 weeks later a coworker gave me the barred rock hens. The meat birds are 4 weeks along, and the eggs are due on the 19th!

    Is it too late to join?! I had set my eggs on the correct date, but at about 6am since I worked that day. Set 7 black copper Marans and 9 BLR Wyandotte eggs, candled them yesterday and only had 3 duds. I am so looking forward to this!!
