    Heated waterer question

    I have always just dumped ice and refilled the water for the chickens every day in winter. I think I want to try a heated waterer. What is your favorite kind? Do you just run an extension cord from the house to the coop? Thanks for the advice!

I find myself studying the eggs when we collect them thinking "I wonder what this one would be like...." I've learned you can't hatch them all, lol! Its great...

    Are Easter eggers good layers???

    I've had several easter eggers. Most of them lay 5 eggs a week and sometimes 6! Mine don't lay through the winter as well but most chickens don't (at least mine don't)!
