7 month old Easter Egger Sex?

The small gray speckled is an Amerecauna. If you check my picture my buff brahma was 4-5 weeks old - she basically looks the same - only smaller.

Buff Brahma - 4-5 weeks old.

I didn't see anything different in the Brahma either……...The front one is a Buckeye - I had to get one because we lived in Ohio for over 20 years. :)

I'm a newbie and wondering when you can tell if the chick is a rooster. She is a little larger than the other chicks (Speckled Sussex, Buttercup and Buckeye) her age. I'm hoping she's just a big girl. Any thoughts?

Newbie Question - Food/Water Inside or Out

I was wondering what some experienced Arizona chicken owners do. We live in an area filled with predators and are busy making a coop predator proof before adding new chicks. Pack rats are an issue. What do you guys suggest to do feed inside or out. They will not be free range - they will...

First time chicken mama in Arizona

Just picked up 4 chicks this past weekend. Husband is busy building the coop while the chicks grow up in their temporary home (old dog crate). It's so much fun watching them and their little personalities already forming. I'm excited to learn more and going to check out your learning center...
