    Just haven't seen that grey color an awful lot, it's almost like a lavender and I didn't know if it was common in some breeds more than others. I have been trying to get one that lays green eggs but keep striking out. Hope this one works out. :)

    No problem. The only reason I say that is because I have one that looks just like it. Very high strung little girl but she is better than an incubator for hatching :)

    Looks like what they call a McLean hatch. Most offspring will be partridge in color.

    Daffy is a meat bird. Don't get to attached.most usually have health problems before they are a year old.

    Def both pullets. Males tail feathers are later to come in. And I don't see any saddle feathers.
