    I use it. It almost certainly has a surfactant added so the oils mix with the water, which will create suds. If it didn't, the oils would separate from the water, making the product pretty useless.

    I have a Plymouth BR and two Marans; the PBR is top of the pecking order. Two days ago, I found one of her eggs in the middle of the coop and this morning found her egg smashed in the nesting box. What's going on here? Thanks.

    I bought two Marans who were the same age and size. The blue copper recently started laying, but the black copper, who is fully grown, has not developed a comb or wattles. Does this mean she will not lay? Thanks, Bette Davis

    Thank you. Perhaps I should have asked if there is anything else I should be adding, but I think she's probably OK. No shortage of creepy crawlies here, where I used to have a manicured lawn... Still, I don't have small kids and the area is being put to better use, now. :)
