Hi, looking for suggestions remedy. Hen has feathers that look like separating or splitting from them and one of my roosters looks that way too. He has crooked neck or wryneck that isn't healing.
he is the last one to eat out of the pecking order. I believe he is eating. I always use duvet vitamins in the water.. I see to give vitamin e and selium is noted.. I will see if he is drinking. I originally thought he just had a stiff neck..

my coop has osb board on bottom (put coop was raised above ground 34", then I put linoleum on top of the wood and it keeps the wood floor dry. Home depot sells smaller size rolls of it and works well, you can sweep, scrape, and mop the floor.
so beautiful baby chicks... they will all have their own personalities. or a marking that will help with the name.

thank you Brookliner! I used to have a plastic piece but the chickens kept siting on it and breaking it. then I thought, hmmm keeps squirrels off, will keep chickens off and work. It actually does work well. no poop in their water!

HI hang cabbage in the coop,, 1st time they didn't know what to do for half the day, but they caught on quick and now they love it. it is a treat and toy.. I also do that with Broccoli--hang it up..
they eat blueberries and strawberries.
becareful with water as it freezes in the cold...
