    I had a chick die today. He was very small and unstable and when he hatched he didn't fluff up quite as quick as the others and there was quite a bit of blood. He was 3 days old and barely grew.     chicks in incubator

    I have a chick hatching in my incubator but its only made a tiny hole and its been trying to get out all day. I can see its beak moving but it seems to be breathing hard. Is it normal for them to take so long? Will it eventually come out or is it too weak?
