The middle of nowhere
I had a chick die today. He was very small and unstable and when he hatched he didn't fluff up quite as quick as the others and there was quite a bit of blood. He was 3 days old and barely grew. I got it to drink but I never saw it eat. Did he hatch to soon? Is there a way to help a chick when its weak and wont eat?

It's possible that he lost too much blood which weakend him. Chicks technically don't need food for the first 2-3 days after hatch as the yolk they absorbed will feed them the nutrients they need during that time. If you haven't/don't I would get Sav a Chick to have on hand.(The electrolyte not digestive pack.) I use this in my brooder water for the first couple days after hatch regardless. Also you can try sugar water for weak, inactive chicks as well.
Sorry to hear about your loss. It's hard to loose even one chick.
