What is the best way to find a good home?

We have 1 duck and 2 chicks. We won't be able to keep past 7 weeks or so because against HMO rules. I figure while they are inside it is no different than people having parrots. We are concerned about finding them a good home. They will be super super tame but we don't know gender or bred. :(...

Brooder in Coop, when can I let them run free?

We have been using puppy pee pads. Is that as bad as newspaper? We just purchased a dog crate to move them to and have already purchased pine shavings for it. Won't have time until tomorrow to transfer them.

Mine are a week old. I lowered the temp and they are acting cold. One even started sneezing. Up the temp back to 95 and they are happy. Could I move them to the garage. Our temp was 89 today? Sorry to hijack your thread.

I have a dilemma.. should I split up chicks or not?

I would keep all 3 and sell 2 later or keep 2 and sell 1 later. I would not keep a single chick unless I was putting it with a hen with no chicks.

    not sure what to do?

Where are you located? Maybe you can find someone like me that will be looking for a home for my chicks once they get big enough to go outside. Mine will be super tame. :)
